Its secluded location, amid Wellington’s farmlands but at walking distance from the town centre, provides a perfect location for an intimate celebration.
Guests make their way through lovely roses and a lavender garden where the canapes and pre-drinks will be served.
The bride and groom can then decide if they want to have their wedding under Au d’Hex clear marquee, where you can celebrate and allowing the outside elements to be a part of the setting. The sun dips behind the mountains and the stars begin to shine, the dance floor and atmosphere comes to life like an enchanted affair… Au d’ Hex can also seat up to 70 people inside, with lovely French furniture, that is included in their packages.
Au d’Hex can accommodate up to 90 guests and they would love to welcome you to the venue of your dreams for anything from a wedding, conference or special function. Au d’ Hex is a stone throw away from the little town Wellington, and 75 km from Cape Town.
The Jetty is covered with a Bedouin tent and overlooks the Hawequa Mountain range. A dance floor can be placed under the oak trees in the garden or on the terrace.
